In 1904, 11 women at Syracuse University created an organization that would provide educational, philanthropic and leadership opportunities for women. They created Alpha Gamma Delta, an international women's fraternity that provides opportunities for personal development through the spirit of sisterhood. Upsilon Chapter at the University of Oklahoma was founded in 1919.
